Objective
OBJECTIVES
In order to promote their insertion and mobility on the job market, workers are having to acquire increasingly extensive language skills. However, there is no real European accreditation system for the acquisition of foreign languages. The project therefore proposes to develop a system which will make it possible to identify, evaluate and accredit linguistic skills. This system is also intended to bring training needs and training offers into alignment.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will develop an assessment and accreditation system for vocational language skills in accordance with European standards. The system will be piloted in enterprises and evaluated by external evaluators at regular intervals. Using the feedback, deficiencies will be remedied and a final version of the system produced. This will be complemented by a multimedia CD-ROM in four languages, enabling linguistic skills identified by the assessment system to be accredited by the various partners of the project.
PRODUCTS
The result of this project will be a series of products including a CD-ROM enabling vocational language training to be assessed and accredited by the various partners, and supporting manuals in four languages.
