AWAIRENESS CAMPAIGN overview:
o conception, production and display of promotional material: posters, roll-ups in each venue (entrance), general leaflet (15 000 copies, priority programmes in each venue), specific programme in specific leaflet in each venue;
o direct mailing (over 2000 schools, announcement of the event and offer of visit for providing further information) with posters and personnel communication;
o publication of a national press release (journalists and major news agencies);
o publication of local press releases in: Baja, Békéscsaba, Beregszász, Budapest, Dunaújváros, Eger, Gödöllő, Gyöngyös, Győr, Hódmezővásárhely, Kecskemét, Keszthely, Kiskunhalas, Kolozsvár, Miskolc, Mosonmagyaróvár, Munkács, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Piliscsaba, Pozsony, Salgótarján, Sárospatak, Siófok, Sopron, Szabadka, Szarvas, Szeged, Székesfehérvár, Szekszárd, Szombathely, Újvidék, Ungvár, Veszprém, Zalaegerszeg.
o 50% times efficient public advertisement (citylight campaign) on the busiest stops on the main lines in Budapest (Astoria, Arany Janos street, Ferenciek tere, Széll Kálmán Square, Batthyány square, Blaha Lujza square, Deák Ferenc square, Corvin-negyed, Ferenciek tere, Kálvin square, Keleti railway station, Kossuth square, Nyugati railway station)
o organisation of online national press conference (2 days prior to the event; 25/11/2020),
o organisation of 4 Science Cafés and 1 Flashmob;
o revamping, constant updating and maintenance of project website www.kutatokejszakaja.eu and www.researchersnight.hu (information and programme provided in English);
o online Europe Corners; links with relevant EU, institutional and other popular websites;
o Join to a community which collect as much as possible of the researcher night event internationally;
o revamping, constant updating and maintenance of social network profile (Facebook, namely www.facebook.com/kutatokejszakaja);
o revamping the brand identity of the Hungarian Researchers’ Night;
o 24.320 FB-followers;
o several press releases, TV and radio spot
o publication of over 205 articles, interviews, videos … etc in both on and off line press;
o airing of video news, interviews, on several radio and TV stations;
o reports on several TV and radio channels reported about the event (source: National audiovisual Archives, www.nava.hu) as well as printed and electronic news portals;
o over 2.000.000 people made aware of the Researchers' Night and its objectives.
ACTIVITIES DURING THE NIGHT:
Various locations where the consortium organised the NIGHT in Budapest (13) and other venues throughout the country (16 in 15 cities: Békéscsaba, Kecskemét, Kisvárda, Nyíregyháza, Salgótarján (2), Sopron, Szeged, Székesfehérvár, Szekszárd, Szolnok, Szombathely, Tatabánya, Tihany, Vácrátót, Zalaegerszeg).
Other locations where the joined partners organised events:
Budaörs, Debrecen, Dunaújváros, Eger, Érd, Gödöllő, Gyál, Gyöngyös, Győr, Hajdúszoboszló, Kalocsa, Kaposvár, Miskolc, Nógrádsáp, Orosháza, Paks, Pécs, Piliscsaba, Százhalombatta, Szentendre, Vác, Veszprém, Zirc.
The online programmes had two types:
o pre-recorded, cut videos;
o live stream, real-time online events.
Common theme to all venues/locations: we presented the “Fascinating World of Researchers in the Age of Technology Mission of researchers to expand new horizons” through a series of events on 27-28 November 2020.

o presentation of prototypes,

o lab visits,

o experiments.
Offer of online EU corner, green platform, Series of webinars organized, Guidelines on how to organize an unforgettable online event.
Active involvement of 620 researchers, of whom:
o 20 having benefitted from MSC schemes;
o 40 having benefitted from another EU funding under FP 7 or HORIZON 2020.
Attendance of 23,870 visitors having taken part in the activities, distributed as follows taking into consideration entities that joined the action after the proposal was approved. The impact assessment shows that (this year also) a multiple of this is the total number of participants (above 100 000).
