Periodic Reporting for period 1 - SCIENCEHOTEL (SCIENCE MEETS CITY)

Project has been teminated by Erasmus University because:
• Science Hotel is not classified by CMT of the university as a meeting with priority. This not only means that no rooms can be reserved for this event (which is not such a problem as it would take place externally), but it also means that it is not a priority in terms of personnel and financial investment.
• Erasmus University Rotterdam's policy is to postpone unnecessary events, both at EUR and externally. That is perfectly possible for this event, even if a subsidy has to be applied for again.
• Moreover, the risk of failure is quite high: if we do not (cannot) strictly follow the corona measures, then that is a serious risk of negative perception.
• Finally, an extra call is made on EUR staff, both support and scientific staff. These employees already suffer from a high workload, especially during the period in which the event is planned.
