Objective
New forms of work organisation based on independent working and the mastering of integral work processes require new skills on the part of vocational training instructors. The aim of this project is to develop a manual and software directed at the training of vocational training staff, improving their capacity to act, enhancing their social and methodological skills, as well as raising the quality of training and the transfer of know-how. The continuing training scheme will be designed to focus on the following:
- planning and execution of vocational training (training programme content and objectives; teaching methods and learning processes in vocational training, didactic preparation of training content etc.);
- individual national statutory bases relating to vocational training and the situation of young people/adults in the vocational training process.
Qualification content will, in general terms, be conveyed on the basis of integral teaching and learning methods as well as in the training of key qualifications (social, methodological and practical skills). The materials will be suitable for use as teaching and learning materials in courses and for self-study purposes. They will be made available in German, English and Italian.
Impact
The content of this project will provide sustained support for the transfer of knowledge through methodological and didactic preparation of the vocational training process.
