Objective
The objective of this project is to develop training activities for employees of SMEs in the field of telecommunications, to enable them to be employed or re-trained for quality systems and safety work. The partners will develop a decision support system for the development of training plans in the areas of quality and safety.
The result of the project will be:
- a software product for identifying employees' skill and training needs;
- occupational profiles, in written format, in on-line documents and on CD-Rom;
- training curricula for the above profiles, in written format, in on-line documents and on CD-Rom;
- a study and analysis of possible technical and operational ways for distributing the products;
- conferences and newsletters (distributed both via usual media and on the Internet).
Impact
The project will facilitate the acquisition of quality and safety skills in SMEs in the telecommunications industry. This will improve the performance of the latter and help them to comply with national and European standards.
