Training in ecological design

Objective

This project will create a training programme for a new occupation: that of the designer specialised in ecological design. With today's environmental problems, the importance of recyclable materials and their environmental impact is constantly increasing.

The partners will develop the training materials necessary to prepare ecologically-aware professionals in the design field. Subjects covered will include design, ergonomics, marketing, product philosophy, psychology, technology, computer design and creative laboratory training. These will be used for the initial training of young people entering the labour market for the first time, as well as continuing education for designers already working in the profession. The main product will be the training materials which will be made available to industries, schools, universities, training institutes, government agencies, and all those who request it.

Impact
This project will contribute sustainable economic development by promoting production activities that do not damage the environment.
