Objective
SMEs providing vocational training need to extend their presence in the market on three levels: analysis of qualification needs; development of new programmes; and distribution and evaluation of training materials. The development of quality systems will help them respond to this need. In this way, vocational training SMEs will increasingly be considered as agents of change.
The partners will focus their work on the development of an occupational profile for vocational training quality assurance staff. The most important results of the project will be a planning methodology for quality certification processes and a quality manual for vocational training. Indirect outcomes will be the development of an SME network to disseminate experiences, methodologies and results; and the recognition that quality is an essential aspect of vocational training services.
Impact
This project will improve the quality of service provided by vocational training SME personnel. It will also consolidate the use of quality systems in this sector.
