Objective
Multimedia technologies have transformed communication, training, sales and marketing practices as well as the way work itself is organised. New training needs are emerging amongst company directors, managers and staff. This is particularly the case in SMEs employing multimedia designers and producers across all sectors of the European economy. Multimedia trainers and project leaders are therefore increasingly in demand.
The project aims to create an on-line/off-line multimedia training system tailored to the needs of SMEs. It will do this through the design of a modular European multimedia training programme, the development of a methodology for setting up multimedia courses, the testing of a teletraining tool and the production of a multimedia distance learning training package. The outcomes will include the organisation of a masters level multimedia training course in the partner countries, the publication of a methodological guide and the production of a distance learning CD-Rom.
Impact
All partners will be responsible for adapting the products to their local national context so as to ensure the widest possible impact amongst SME company managers, trainers, human resource directors and employees.
