Objective
This project is designed to help company personnel fulfil the key roles necessitated by the introduction of lean production methods and to promote an increase in the demand for training on the part of public and private companies.
The partners will adapt continuing vocational training methods and content to the requirements of lean production. The work programme includes an analysis of training needs, the organisation of pilot training courses and the evaluation of the results. These will be disseminated through the network of companies linked to the partners in each country of the partnership. Information will also be published in leaflets or brochures and posted on the Internet to guarantee access to a wide range of interested parties.
Impact
The outcome of this project will constitute a useful support for companies working in industrial sectors where the pressure to introduce lean production methods is the greatest.
