Objective
At present production systems are moving towards a preponderance of new technologies. These new technologies are a source of new jobs, but they require highly skilled workers. For this reason it is essential to fill the gap between labour market demand and training content on one hand, and to certificate and validate training at European level in order to facilitate the free movement of workers.
In this context, the aim of the project is to standardise contents, methodologies and evaluation systems in training centres and companies in the field of computer integrated manufacturing. Design of training materials will take place further to the identification of future labour market requirements. Then the training content will be evaluated and adapted to the training systems of each member state involved.
Impact
Direct beneficiaries of this project are workers and unemployed people, especially women re-entering the labour market. This group will benefit from increased labour market mobility. Indirect beneficiaries are training centres, companies, SMEs, public institutions and social partners.
