Objective
The aim of this project is to develop continuing training for European hearing-aid specialists and, more specifically, to create training modules on the application of new technologies in this sector.
To achieve this objective, the partners will begin by comparing initial training provision in the various partner countries in order to identify "training gaps" and define the minimum basic training required. They will then design a training programme incorporating new technologies developed by manufacturers. These two initial stages will be evaluated by the sector, with this leading to the design of continuing training modules, some of which will be used jointly by the different countries involved and others adapted to suit national characteristics and initial vocational training systems.
Impact
- Development of continuing training for European hearing-aid specialists.
- Geographical expansion of initial and continuing training to include countries where it does not exist.
- Design of a planning methodology for vocational training on the basis of qualification needs.
- Initial vocational training/continuing vocational training Euro-qualifications approved by professionals, manufacturers and distributors.
