Objective
The objective of this project is to better match vocational training centres' training provision with SMEs' technology training needs by involving the latter in the training design process and by organising initial and continuing vocational training activities in accordance with companies' needs.
The partners will design an effective methodology through a questionnaire survey, company visits and meetings. Vocational training centres will acquire information on the technology needs of companies which will enable them to create training modules better tailored to company needs. Companies will benefit from increased knowledge of training available. This will improve the matching of training supply and demand. All information will be processed on computers and made available on the Internet.
Impact
This project will increase companies' competitiveness, reinforce links between training centres and SMEs, encourage the recruitment of young people who have undertaken on-the-job work experience and improve the training available at training centres.
