Objective This project aims to reinforce the importance of design in European furniture production. This is becoming increasingly essential for boosting product quality, competitiveness and employment in wooden furniture production companies, which are primarily small and managed in traditional ways.The partners will undertake an analysis of the current situation in the industry and will then pool their multidisciplinary experience for the development of an appropriate training programme, curriculum and modules. These will have a strong design component and will be intended for use in initial technology training courses. All materials will be translated into the languages of the partnership.
