Objective
The aim of this project is to design a European profile for window dressers and to create the first transnational course in this specialised area. Different visual tendencies in European countries and the lack of certification on a European basis do not encourage mobility amongst window dressing professionals. The lack of distant learning programmes in this sector puts people living in the country at a disadvantage compared to professionals from the big centres where window dressing schools are located.
This project will produce a course by developing analysis methodologies, training modules, evaluation instruments and printed/multimedia training materials. In co-operation with the European Federation of Window Dressing Schools, it will also develop certification arrangements.
Impact
The project will result in a common curriculum for window dressing in Europe. This will promote mobility of professionals and give geographically disadvantaged people access to open, distant and flexible learning.
