Training of trainers for the implementation of a common course in the eu agricultural sector

Objective

The aim of this project is to develop a methodology and model for the in-service training of teachers of common courses in the agricultural sector of the European Union. It complements a 1995 Leonardo project and the two together will form an integrated training model with European elements.

A pilot trial of the training will involve 20 trainers for one week at the University of Partas. The direct beneficiaries of the project are teachers, young people in initial vocational training and trainers, designers and managers of training programmes. The project outcomes will be training programmes, modules and evaluation tools for open and distance in-service teachers' training.

Impact
The project's impact will be in the areas of initial vocational training systems and of methodologies of in-service teachers' training.
