Objective
Training for poorly qualified adults is currently a great challenge. This group requires training that is tailored to their specific needs. Their professional past should be taken account of through the accreditation of skills obtained outside the educational system. Their training plans also need to be individualised and they need to be assessed in their ability to acquire certain skills.
During a first phase, three trainers from the partner countries will work on skills transfer in the areas mentioned above. A second phase will be devoted to the study of the extent to which multimedia tools take account of the need of poorly qualified job seekers. Ultimately, individualised multimedia training will be developed. A training guide will also be produced for people wanting to provide or develop multimedia training for poorly qualified adults. These results will be disseminated on the Internet.
Impact
The project will have a direct impact on the quality and variety of training provision for poorly qualified people in the countries of the partnership. Training providers working in this field will benefit from improved tools for developing relevant training programmes in the field.
