Project description
Reinforcing microbiome science to improve human health and well-being
Europe has gained a leading position in microbiome science. However, to fulfill societal expectations, an international consensus has to be reached on key aspects. The EU-funded IHMCSA project aims to take all necessary steps that will lead to better management of the nutrition and health of the microbial human. Involving key stakeholders representing the multiplicity of actors concerned, including citizens, the project will map existing material, delineate necessary steps and pathways for innovation and build consensus on priorities and means for the future of microbiome science and its translation.
