Periodic Reporting for period 1 - FSC (Forward Slice Core)

The goal of the project was to (1) evaluate the newly proposed Forward Slice Core (FSC) microarchitecture across instruction-set architectures and workloads, and explore the design space to better understand its intrinsic characteristics compared to existing and competitive architectures, (2) implement the FSC architecture in open-source hardware and evaluate its design complexity, and (3) explore potential commercialization opportunities. The project was completed successfully, demonstrating that FSC is robust across instruction-set architectures, workloads, and the broad design space, while being implementable at relatively low hardware complexity.
