Objective
In response to changes in home-care and to the need for social enterprises to increase the amounts of training offered in the sector, the promoters of this project will develop a transnational training module, accessible to an audience of middle managers who are identified as having insufficient qualifications.
This module will be tested through transnational seminars organised with steering groups and teaching committees, and through trainee exchanges. Although initially planned within the scope of continual vocational training, the module will eventually be used for initial training.
This project will offer training modules to various networks and, in particular, to social enterprises who need to improve the health and social training for care assistants. The effects of the module will be further enhanced by virtue of its transnational nature. It will be produced in two languages, as will the corresponding syllabi. In these conditions, new professional profiles can be identified, and a European certificate for retraining "second line care assistants " can be established.
Results will be distributed by the various organisations concerned: home-care organisations and specialised training organisations.
Impact
This training will contribute to the creation of new jobs in the healthcare sector.
