Objective
This multiplier-effect project is concerned with the development of a CD-ROM on intercultural negotiation. The DELTA concept aims to develop the main areas of communication skills in international business life and the CD-ROM offers an ideal tool for autonomous training focusing on the key competences of intercultural communication, negotiation and business English.
The DELTA concept CD-ROM has been specially designed for multicultural use and will be adaptable so that various languages can be used as the media of training. The CD-ROM will be tested with employees from institutions and organisations who do not have the possibility (in terms of time and availability) to take part in conventional face-to-face training.
The existing DELTA concept CD-ROM will be adapted to the linguistic and cultural context of users in Denmark, Spain, Finland and Greece.
Impact
The DELTA project will broaden access to further education and vocational training by providing a practice-oriented focus to complement academically based products. It will broaden the use of foreign languages in a business-related environment, especially for those users working in institutions, organisations (especially SMEs) with limited access to conventional face-to-face training.
