Objective
Employees have little knowledge of plastics science and processing, especially in the plastics processing industry, and more specifically in the area of injection moulding. Few have time to attend continuing training courses after work. This project will complete and develop the results of a FORCE project - 'Injection to Europe' - which produced a software package on plastics injection in 1994.
During the first phase, the partners will revise and up-date the existing software. In the second phase, they will prepare a guidebook with instructions and explanations about the product. Seminars and working meetings will be organised in Pau, London and Zaragoza with enterprise and sectoral associations, in order to demonstrate the product. Video conferences will also be organised.
Impact
This project will enable plastics sector employees to acquire new professional skills. Hence, the competitiveness of plastics processing enterprises will be enhanced.
