Objective
The main idea behind this project is to educate young people undertaking vocational training in teleworking to familiarise them with the latest new technologies, and also to improve their chances of success in the job market. The training will be targeted at 18-20 year olds who are studying, or who have recently studied business management and marketing.
During the project, the partners will : analyse the current situation of the target group; and identify skill and knowledge requirements; design new training content and a model for delivering training using telematics and computer software; and train trainers to improve their skills in the field of new technologies.
The results of the project will be transferred through provincial education authorities, as well as through a series of awareness-raising activities for vocational training organisations. They will also be disseminated at transnational level.
Impact
The project will lead to the introduction of telematic and teleworking education into mainstream initial vocational training curricula, especially in courses that are future-oriented and concerned with new technologies.
