The modular method in training: intervention models

Objective

Education often fails to meet the expectations of society in general and of the working world in particular. Many feel that education is too rigid and does not make proper use of student resources and teacher skills. The goal of this pilot project is to apply the modular method to training. This way, each school is given the possibility of adapting to the reality without changing the organisation of the system as a whole.

LAMO aims to individualise all forms of intervention, starting with the organisation of the school system. This will make education more open to the world of work and research and allow a more rational use of the time spent in school. The next target is the classroom, where the project will encourage and improve professionalism amongst the teaching staff and encourage co-operation between them. The final stage will deal with the subjects themselves, to ensure that the paths followed at school respect the individuals, interests and learning time of students.

Information on the hypotheses tested in this project and all the final results will be made available through a telematic network.

Impact
LAMO will work towards reorganising and optimising human resources within the educational systems of partner countries.
