Final Activity Report Summary - TRICODES (Research and development of tribological coatings with tailored desorption properties)
Coatings with tailored tribodesorption properties were developed and experimentally tested during the reintegration phase of the project. A new method for the characterisation of tribodesorption from coatings used in ball bearings was also developed. This method and new tailored coatings were under patenting by the time of the project completion.
The results of the research were published in one paper and presented on two international and national topic conferences. The results of the performed research would be used to obtain the higher qualification in Russia, i.e. Doctor of Science, by Dr R. Nevshupa.
