Deliverables

Summary: DIVINE is a desktop multipoint videoconference system, which has been designed to have a wide functional scope. The current prototype runs well on a Pentium 200 based PC with MMX technology, 16 MB RAM and 10 MB disk space is minimum. It runs for Windows 95, Windows98 and Windows NT and is fully standards compliant. Because Microsoft NetMeeting Version 2.0 has been integrated into DIVINE, it has also full T.120 functionality like other probable competing products. By that alone, it is already an attractive solution for small project teams that wish to work together but whose members are physically separated. However, due to its enhanced multipoint audio-visual capabilities it has superior functionality compared to NetMeeting. Hence, a software-only solution of DIVINE would merge the advantages of the both most spread public domain programs NetMeeting and CUSeeMe : Unrestricted multipoint conferencing capabilities according to H.323 and T.120 without the requirement of an additional MCU.
