Summary:
A high quality large format video and computer graphics projector system has been developed. It provides real time video pictures in full colour with high resolution. These features allow it to accurately project computer generated images from XGA resolution workstations and to realistically relay video images from remote viewing sites. This compact system will find immediate application in a variety of fields, including education, entertainment, conferencing and business presentations. The market for business projectors alone is predicted to increase by a factor of at least two over the next five years. Other potential markets are in rear projection TV and computer monitors.
