GEOSERVE established multimedia geo-data systems and services, for a potential market of 400 major European geo-data and service providers.
The GEOSERVE service will enable the marketing of geographical data internationally. Access to the service will be available through PCs and UNIX based relational databases. The potential user community comprises local governments, several hundred regional services, energy suppliers, and geo-marketing firms, as well as private citizens.
