CONSUMER-LED APPROACH TO FOODS IN THE EC : DEVELOPMENT OF COMPREHENSIVE MARKET-ORIENTED STRATEGIES

Objective



The objective is to develop and apply a novel methodology for marketing of foods that use sophisticated mathematical techniques to identify consumer requirements behaviour with respect to foods are identified. Marketing strategies will be developed for each segment for 3 foods: olive oil, yogurt and beef.
Guidelines will be developed concerning market strategies that are applicable to other sectors of European agri-business.
