The objectives are:

- Characterization and possibly identification of degradation products of aflatoxin B1, that can be used for assessing the efficiency of decontamination procedures or the recognition of pretreated (decontaminated) material.
- An evaluation of toxicological aspects related to the decontamination of aflatoxin B1 contaminated feed, including public health aspects.
