RESEARCH NETWORK FOR POLICY ANALYSIS FOR RURAL AREAS

Objective

The objective of this action is to provide the necessary instruments of the evaluation of various policies dealing with structural adjustment in EU rural areas. This objective will be pursued via :

a) the creation - establishment of a network of active EU researchers on the subject of socio-economic modelling and;
b) the construction as well as the documentation and management of a regionally disaggregated data base, based on the Social Accounting Matrix and Computable General Equilibrium model concepts.
