Objective
The general objective is to rethink and to investigate the possibility to combine advantages of both injectable active and passive transponders for electronic identification and monitoring within animal surveillance applications (farm, transport, slaughterhouse) collecting key information on well-being, health, reproduction and meat quality to be integrated in management systems. At the end a new generation of a better performing transponder will become available to be used both for anti-fraud and total quality management within animal production.
