Objetivo

In accidental cases of increased radiation exposure of individuals prior to medical treatment, the actual exposure of the organism must be determined independently of physical dosimetric measurements. Radiation induced changes in lymphocyte populations, and their functions, have been developed as biological indicators of radiation damage.
