Objective

Combustion of rice husk for heat recovery and subsequent power generation by steam turbine. Rice husks are burned in a vibrating grate boiler with primary and secondary air addition and a patented system of recirculating flue gas to reduce total flue gas production and minimise NOx formation. Incompletely burned solid wastes from the grate and dust collection systems are Incinerated in a rotary kiln fired with natural gas. A saleable ash product is claimed.
