Objective The goal of this research project is to develop integrated LCP sliding systems with both specially formulated lubricants and optimized LCP microstructure and filler contents (such as PTFE, MoS2, graphite, talcum, glass fibres, lubricants, etc.) for the application in precision machines under high loads and temperatures up to 150A$ĆAC; at a cost of 50% less, such sliding systems are expected to have the same or better qualities than currently used ball bearings or sinter bearings.
