Deliverables
Samples of a variety of zeolites [including Mordenite, Y, ZSM-5 and beta] and of the mesoporous material MCM41 [at various pore sizes] have been obtained in which the voids are completely filled with a range of conducting polymers. The materials are indefinitely air-stable, and might have potential [following further work] as stabilised organic conductors, or as conducting thin films. Publications are currently submitted or are being prepared on these developments.
