Minimum default rubber processing by optimal compounding

Objective

Objectives and content
The project deals with the quality assurance for rubber
processing. A detailed analysis of the raw material
control and of the material properties in the process
steps material handling, mixing, storage and further
processing will be performed. The project partners
represent the whole processing chain from raw material
delivery to end product users.
During the project especially the mixing room will be the
point of interest. New instruments to evaluate the
rheological processing parameters of the compound and the
distribution quality of chemicals will be developed. Last
but not least a complete production control (CPC)-concept
for the mixing room bill be developed and evaluated.
By combining rubber compounds throughout Europe out of
different product areas the evidence of the results for
different fields of application will be shown.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
