Objective
Stockholders are companies which produce steel, aluminium, stainless steel blanks or blanks made of other material in required number and dimensions for their customers. These blanks are produced by a cut to length line. The industrial problem is the poor overall production efficiency for cut to length lines of about 25 % . The objective of the project is to develop prototypes of a new generation of stackers, uncovers and control and operation systems to increase the efficiency of a cut to length to 50 %.
