Multiple induction heating of mating points in the context of automated assembly and testing processes

Objective

The subject of this development plan is an assembly process e.g. for car and motorcycle transmissions with insertion areas of different dimensions. It deals with the topics : 1. Induction warming of many insertion points to the same temperature dependent on the dimensions and different material accumulations; 2. Realizing the temperature measurement over time as well as realizing the power and distance measurements in the interest of quality control and safety, visualizing the measurements results for operation of the facility; 3. Develop the handling systems to positioning the multiple inductors, positioning the work components and for the insertion process with the goal of automating the assembly process; 4. Develop the controller software, interface for standard software. The possibilities for a practical and new method for motor and transmission preparation means the chance of getting into the international market for participating companies. Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
