Objective
The objective of the project is to develop an environmental friendly small scale air-pressure cleaning pistol. Contrary to traditional air cleaners, the MINI-TURBO-CLEANER will operate solely by pulsating air without lubricating materials resulting in a wide range of applications where cleaning with water or chemicals is detrimental or impossible. The industrial objective is to improve the performance of pulsating air pressure technology by development of a new airpressure cleaning pistol which can achieve a cost-effective, less polluting and safer cleaning. Development of the air-pressure cleaning pistol will make pulsating air technology more widely available to a broad range of applications with improved properties, increased functionality and low environmental impact. Technical objectives comprise dimensioning of components and selection of materials to produce a small scale air pistol which can operate by high pressure pulsating air respecting requirements in terms of strength, stability, resistance and duration. Additional objectives are to improve health and safety conditions at work stations for operators of cleaning equipment.
