Objective

UTILISATION OF THE OPTICAL SELF MIXING PHENOMENON FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOVEL NON CONTACT VIBRATION, VELOCITY AND DISTANCE SENSORS, RESEARCH OBJECTIVES : * identification and characterisation of light sources usable for self mixing, * thermal study of self mixing : modelisation, simulation, influence of temperature on the wave-length, * characterisation of spectral modulation relative to current excitation, * study and modelisation parasite phenomenas * detection of suitable ap^plications in different industrial sectors, * preliminary development of sensors.
