Objective The aim of the project is to overcome demanding problems of the tyre scrap (in addition to other solid and inorganic wastes) in Rubbish damps, mainly: 1. The space problem and the using of wastes as energy sources or recycled raw materials. 2. The investment needed in a recycling plant in relation with the production-rate obtained, if Rubbish damp wants to use wastes as a value good. The technical objective is to develop a self-propelled machine that allows reducing and separating (for recycling or re-using) tyres and various kind of wastes, moving around different Rubbish damps disseminated in a local area. This self-propelled machine avoids great disbursements in permanent machinery, as just one machine is able to work where it is required with a"job-shop" production method.
