The scientific and technical objectives of this research proposal aim to develop a compact flue gas cleaning system to purify off-gases from small combustion units in a cost-efficient one-step reactor. Research is required to formulate a suitable granulate for sorption of particles and gaseous pollutants and to connect the reactor with the combustion chamber. Field operations have to prove the suitability of the whole system. Correlations between raw gas components and operational parameters of the reactor have to be established.
