Exploitable results

The result of this RTD project is a Break Away Valve for petrol and diesel dispensers, which can be used on most types of fuel hoses at filling stations all over the world. With this high performance, low price break away valve it will be possible to protect dispensers all over the world from accidents if / when a person forgets to take away the nozzle when he / she has filled fuel in the car. The New Break Away Valve - Can withstand pressure shocks up to 40 bars - Breaks at pulling forces in 0-30º at normal conditions 1000 N ±100 N - Is made of materials that withstand corrosion - estimated life time up to 5 years - The length is - reduced to about 40 mm - Meets the new standard - prEN 13 167 - 2
