Development of a fully automatized production control process (based on barkhaüsen noise and artificial vision technologies) to manufacture ball and roller bearings in aeronautic industry

Objective

The objective of this research project consists in developing an automatized production control process by introducing the most advanced technologies in the areas:controls of MATERIAL controls of GRINDING ABUSE controls of INDUSTRIAL MEASURING METHODS controls of ASPECTS The objective is to set up the principles of a new PRODUCTION CONTROL PROCESS for manufacturing BALL and ROLLER BEARINGS in the aeronautic domains. New technologies of high efficiency level have to be demonstrated in industrial automatized processes as listed hereunder:
NOISE OF BARXHAÜSEN
ARTIFICIAL VISION
EDDY CURRENT
LASER
Actually the techniques used in the industry must be in accordance with drastic quality specifications sheets, so the controls are generally executed on every piece of the production process. The control processes all along the different production steps, are actually manual, and visual, they are achieved not economically by people dedicated to. The cost of these controls tasks is high because the operations to carry out are numerous, long and slow. Moreover these tasks are tiring and not gratifying for the workers. An automatic control process, a fully integrated controls conveyor line, which will be separated of the other production lines, by the means of integration of high level new technologies will enhance the quality production required and the productivity needed to challenge the competition worldwide. The increasing quality level of the production of BALL and ROLLER BEARINGS will contribute to define new norms and to ensure a better security in the aeronautic sector.
