The FAST system as a whole

The automatic control system for the detection of fabric defects on the loom is based on the application and further development of Near Sensor Image Processing The equipment and the software developed within the FAST Project has been designed to be controlled by low cost computers. The project result consists of a prototype system for fabric defect detection, equipped with an Integrated Vision Camera and a lighting system designed to this purpose.
