Exploitable results

The main interesting functionality for the SMEs is the reflection of visible light, infrared and ultraviolet radiations given by the metallic layer. - The treatment of metallisation increases the thermal isolation properties of the nonwoven which enters in the composition of quilts and sleeping bags. - The treatment of metallisation gives a visible light reflecting property to: a) the nonwoven for quilts and sleeping bags. b) the woven fabric for protective curtains. c) the webbing for technical use. - The treatment of metallisation brings a thermal isolation property to the woven fabric for protective curtains. Metallised coating decreases the thermal flux which passes through the woven fabric. - The aluminum metallisation brings to the coated woven fabric for projection screens a bright aspect.. However, the quality of reflection is not sufficient for the requirements of the market.
