High-field electron-paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy technology and applications

Objective

It is proposed to connect two outstanding Russian groups, active in highfield Electron Paramagnetid Resonance (EPR) and Optically Dected Magnetic Resonance (ODMR) spectroscopy, to the existing EEC Network "High-field Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy: Technology and Application". It concerns the group of professor Ya.S. Lebedev at the Institute of Chemical Physic of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow and the group of professor P.G. Baranov at the A.F. Ioffe Institute in St. Petersburg. The proposed extension will be esential for the scientific future of the two groups in the FSU but it will be also highly beneficial for the five groups presently collaborating in the network. Moreover it will provide access for the groups in the EEC to the remarkable expertise in the field of high-frequency (mm- and submm-wave)radar technology in the FSU. It is expected that the latter aspect will be of great importance for further developments in high-frequency EPR.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
