Objectif
This project has four main elements:
upgrading of a hardware and software of an existing Czech design centre, by installing workstations and CAD design tools which are used world-wide
training the design centre staff on new methods and tools, then establishing a training centre in Prague, to transfer ASIC design experience to a larger number of designers in the Czech Republic
development of a demonstrator circuit to show the efficiency of the upgraded Czech design centre
development of a mixed analogue/digital cell library, which is a prerequisite for the development of highly sophisticated ASIC circuits. A standardised library which can be used by all partners will be developed.
PROGRESS AND RESULTS
The new equipment and CAD tools are installed and staff training has taken place. The first part of the cell library has been developed and installed in Prague.
