Objective
Measuring Instruments for anlysing components and harmful substances present in waste gases from small burners up to 1 MW, for example, are expensively produced in Europe in small production lots, whereas involved medical technology (e.g. cholesterol and blood-sugar level testers), for example, is readily available at exceptionally good value.
In order to initiate similar advances of the medical-technological field, simple sensors, representing good value for money but having strongly non-linear response curves, should be used, whereby measuring accuracy is achieved through integrated self-calibration by means of "Fuzzy-Logic" and the evaluation of the measuring signal through mathematical algorithms, averaging on fixed variable intervals respectively.
The availability of such operated instruments will also prove to be of value to non-specialists in the field.
