Objective

The objective of this project is to develop an external intelligent lighting system, having in mind the next points:
ù Energy saving. The electric consumption to light is diminished and the power-factor is increased.
ù Heavy reduction of maintenance costs.
ù Improvement of lighting service quality by incorporation of new functions. ù All of light sources are continuously supervised from a central control. An innovative conception of the lighting point, the use of power electronic knowledge and artificial intelligent technologies will paint to optimise the lighting system.
Several sub sectors within the electric industry will benefit from the project. The results of the project will permit product innovations and new market opportunities for each of the sub sectors, as well as the possibility of commercialising, via the consortium, a high performance and high value added product, at a low cost.
